We match animals with homes carefully, because every animal here is looking for a forever one.

How adoption works

Application. Tell us about you, your home, and your household.
Review. We read every application and may follow up with questions.
Meet-and-greet. Meet the animal in person, with any other pets or family members who will share the home.
Home check. We visit to make sure the home is a safe fit.
Contract. We sign the adoption contract, and you take your new family member home.

Forever collar. On pickup day, bring a collar for your new animal. We replace the rescue collar with the forever collar as part of the handoff.
