About us

We’re a brand-new group just getting our feet on the ground, made up of a small group of volunteers brought together by one big thing: a passion for animals and their care.

We’re still in the early stages of building, organizing, and figuring out exactly what Furever Found in Fremont will become, but we have big hopes for what we can accomplish together.

Our wish is to create a safe and loving sanctuary for adoptable pets who may need a little extra time, patience, care, or support before finding the place they can call home.

But our vision goes beyond the animals in our care. We believe rescue is about community helping community. We don’t want city limits or boundaries to determine who deserves a helping hand. Our goal is to help wherever we can, whenever we can, throughout all of Fremont County.

Whether that means helping an animal in need, supporting a family trying to care for their pet, connecting people with resources, working alongside other animal advocates and organizations, or simply being there when someone doesn’t know where else to turn, we want to do what we can.

We know we can’t do everything, especially as a brand-new group. We won’t always have the resources or ability to help every situation that comes our way. But we promise to care, to try, and to continue building something that can make a real difference for the animals and people of our community.

We believe some of the best things start small. With the help of volunteers, fosters, adopters, supporters, local organizations, and fellow animal lovers, we hope to grow Furever Found in Fremont into something our entire community can be proud of.

We’re just getting started, and we’re so glad you’re here with us.

How we care for animals

Our animals live in both our facility and foster homes, with more on site than in foster care. We don’t use kennels. Dogs roam the facility and play together, and our cats have a catio. Since we began, we have rescued and fostered out more than 200 cats and dogs, and one guinea pig.

Our rescue team

Our volunteers are our rescue team. They go out onto the reservation themselves to bring animals in, because they believe every animal in a bad situation deserves a better one.
